Game Time

Hey there Husker fans!  We are excited for the game today....but no one more than Miss Hadley.  She's taking a quick nap so she's ready for kick-off:  Go Huskers!

New Addition

We've been waiting to know what the baby's gender was.....no one could run out and get blue or pink anything. It was driving all of the grandparents nuts I'm sure.

Well, the wait is over and we would like to welcome Hadley Ann into the family. She was born on August 31st and was 7lbs 10ozs. Very perfect baby.

And even though Carson was rooting for a boy, I think she melted his heart about 5 seconds after walking into the recovery room.


Hadley and Tara are doing well but looking forward to heading home, I'm sure.

And by the way....

Speaking of first day of school, last week the kids found out who their teachers were going to be this school year. Carson didn't really care but was hoping he would have a few of his running buddies in his class. Hannah, of course, was just starting this whole school business and didn't know what to expect.

We had a really good experience with Carson's kindergarten teacher so we were hoping Hannah would get her. She didn't....but the teacher she did get is fabulous too. When Hannah found out she got Mrs. Johnson, she also found out that one of her best friends got her too! Hannah was super excited.

Later that week, we stopped over to Nana's for dinner. Hannah just had to ask....'So, Nana....did you have Mrs. Johnson too?'

A total blond moment from Hannah. That would put Mrs. Johnson well past Medicare age....sorry, Nana. Just saying.

First Day of School

There were a few 'firsts' today.....

Carson's first day of third grade. Hannah's first day of kindergarten (and first day at this school). Our first post in a really long time......let's forget about that last one. Here are a few photos of the morning:

Final Ultrasound

Here is a video of the Ultrasound that was taken today of 'Baby #3'. Sorry folks, we didn't find out the sex and believe me, no one will be more disappointed than Carson. He has been working on us for a several weeks to find out.....he really isn't looking forward to being tormented by another sister so he has been reading the bible and praying that it's a boy. Go figure.
